1 Peter 1 : 24 -25

For "All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the lord stands forever" - 1 Peter 1 : 24 -25

It's a fact that a few books survive very long.  Only one book is eternal.  The Bible stands forever.  The word of God lives forever.

We are even warned of what will happen if try to destroy the Bible.  Revelations 22 : 18 -19 "And I solemnly declare to everyone who hears of the words of prophecy written in this book; If anyone adds anything to what is written here, God will add to that person the plagues described in this book.  And if anyone removes any of the words from this book of prophecy, God will remove that person's share in the tree of life, and in the holy city that are described in this book.
